Special Music

Gospel Guys
Gospel Guys is a group of men that currently enjoys the genre of southern gospel and some barbershop with an occasional diversion to traditional and contemporary pieces. The Gospel Guys lift their faith in music and have fun doing it. They are included in special music at PEPC worship services and other community life events periodically through out the year. Gospel Guys is open to all men in PEPC. They meet Wednesday evenings following choir at 8:30 pm. For further information contact or Janet Specht at 303-506-8800.

Instrumental Ensembles
In addition to our weekly worship bands, we assemble instrumental ensembles for special musical works. Larger instrumentation is used for the Easter and Christmas services, with small ensembles for Mother's Day and a couple of special music Sundays. Our weekly worship band has opportunities for horn and string musicians to be added as appropriate. Instrumental soloists who would like to present an offering to enhance the worship experience at PEPC are scheduled as available and appropriate to the service design. Children’s Music
PEPC Children enjoy a music ministry time every Wednesday evening from 6:15 – 6:45pm as part of our Community Night programming. During this time our children learn praise and worship music as well as special music for inclusion in our worship services. This music program is designed to enhance and grow their overall concept of worship and allow them to become more integrated into the regular worship services. The music is assisted in presentation by our youth and inclusive of contemporary and time honored selections as well as those appropriate for worship service presentation. Additional opportunities for music are found periodically during the Sunday School hours as appropriate for scheduling and curriculum. Our children respond and are deeply touched by the ministry of music in their lives. Youth Music Ministry
Check back with us often. We are just putting together a new program for our PEPC youth for Alternative Praise and Worship. All of our high school students are welcome and encouraged to use their musical gifts in our many music opportunities for the church body at large. Soloists and Small Ensembles
PEPC welcomes the use of your musical gifts through quality musical and worshipful presentations. If you have a musical talent you would like to share as a soloist or small ensemble please let us know. Our music leaders will meet with you or your ensemble to help design the best opportunity for your gifts to enhance worship at PEPC. If you need assistance with the preparation and/or selection we will be happy to work with you. All musical offerings will be reviewed with our staff in advance and used as appropriate.
